WHO WE ARE

Our Identity

Vision

EBCI envisions a future where there is comprehensive care and support for People Living with HIV (PLHIV), Female Sex Workers (FSWs), and People Affected by AIDS (PABA).

Our Approach

The implementation of our mission is achieved through the following thematic areas:

  • HIV/AIDS Awareness and Prevention

EBCI is actively engaged in raising awareness about HIV/AIDS and implementing preventive measures. This includes offering counseling, testing, and referrals for Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) to Female Sex Workers and their clients. We work collaboratively with USAID clinics (OSS) and drop-in centers to provide essential services.

  • Comprehensive Care and Support

We are dedicated to providing comprehensive care and support for People Living with HIV (PLHIV), with a particular focus on Female Sex Workers (FSWs) and the LGBTQI community. This includes access to treatment, psychosocial support, and healthcare services to improve the quality of life for these communities.

  • Stigma Reduction

One of our core objectives is to combat the stigma associated with HIV/AIDS, sex work, and LGBTQI identities. The organization works tirelessly to promote acceptance, understanding, and inclusivity within society.

  • Community Empowerment

We believe in the empowerment of marginalized communities, including FSWs and LGBTQI individuals. We provide a platform for these communities to access education, skills training, and opportunities for sustainable livelihoods.

  • Advocacy and Policy Engagement

EBCI advocates for the Sexual reproductive health and rights and well-being of Female Sex Workers and the LGBTQI community at local, regional, and national levels. We also actively engage with policymakers and stakeholders to influence positive change and promote the rights of these communities.

  • Gender Equality and LGBTQI Rights

EBCI is committed to promoting gender equality and LGBTQI rights. We work to ensure that all individuals, regardless of their gender identity or sexual orientation, have access to essential services, support, and equal opportunities.
